We all know that face rigging can be a time-consuming and sometimes tedious process—especially when setting up connections between NURBS controllers and the blend targets that drive a character’s expressions.
CONTROL 2 BLEND is a tool for Autodesk Maya designed to simplify that workflow. It allows you to connect NURBS controllers directly to blend targets using either set driven keys or remap value nodes. By simply entering your desired values, you can quickly set driver/driven keyframes as well as input/output ranges—making the process of linking controllers to blend targets faster, cleaner, and more efficient.
This project was developed as part of my learning journey through Alexander Richter’s 10-week intensive course, Python for DCC, which focuses on applying Python within DCC software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, and Nuke. Thanks for checking it out, and happy rigging.
